I use silk fabric that has been dyed with earthenware.
Kyofuan Omura had it made into a folding fan.
The folding fan was born in Kyoto during the Heian period and spread throughout the world.
It is said that it began as thin wooden boards called "mokkan" that were bound together and used as record paper instead of paper, which was a valuable commodity at the time.
